The robust titanium case is designed to protect your Watch from side impacts, and the Digital Crown is larger, so it's easier to use while you're wearing gloves. There's a large Action button that makes it easy to do things like set a waypoint. It's got the brightest Apple Watch display yet, so you'll be able to see it in glaring sunlight. When it gets dark, rotate the Digital Crown in Night Mode to turn the face a vivid red. When you're off the beaten track, you want location data you can trust, so it's got a dual-frequency GPS system that's really accurate. Designed for everything from deserts to mountains, the Apple Watch Ultra can cope with temperatures from -20 to 55°C, even if you don't fancy those extremes.
