About this iMac
5K iMac
The beautiful iMac design that you know. But bigger and better. The Apple iMac 5K has been upgraded to give you all the power you need to tackle serious projects (as well as everything else you do each day). You've got a fast processor, impressive AMD graphics and a beautiful Retina Display.
The 5K screen is able to create 1 billion colours, so each video and image looks as good as it does in real life. True Tone brings even more realism to what's on your screen. Whether you're helping the kids with homework, finishing off a video or making final edits to your photography, every image will be full of bright and vibrant colour.
Responsive computing
Finish off a presentation, then relax with a film or just browse around online – the 10th generation 8-core Intel® Core™ i7 processor gives you the power to do it all. And let's not forget the 512 SSD that gives you plenty of space for projects and pictures. No more needing to dig out the external hard drive to save your photos.
Like having loads of tabs open at once? Well, the iMac has 8 GB of RAM, which helps you multitask without anything slowing down.
It's all topped off with a studio quality mic that makes recordings sound great.
macOS Catalina
MacOS Catalina is the perfect operating system for your iMac. It's super-secure, gives you loads of uniquely designed apps that work perfectly on a Mac, and has intuitive controls for everything you do each day.
Designed to bring your devices together in a whole new way, the iMac is the perfect partner for your other Apple devices. With Sidecar, you can even use you iPad as a second display for your iMac.
