Tech Market Trade-In Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms carefully before submitting your device to Tech Market. By using our trade-in service, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to be bound by them.

1. Eligibility & Ownership

You must be the legal owner of the device and have full rights to sell or trade it in. Devices must not be blacklisted, stolen, or under active finance.

2. Our Contract With You

Once you submit a trade-in request, we’ll confirm receipt by email. A binding contract is only formed when we inspect and accept your device and you accept our final offer.

3. Right to Reject

We may reject your trade-in if: the device condition differs significantly, it's reported lost/stolen, it doesn't match the submission details, or if we suspect fraud.

4. Data Responsibility

It is your responsibility to remove all data and personal accounts (e.g., iCloud, Google). Devices left with data may be wiped upon receipt. We are not liable for any personal data left on devices.

5. Inspection & Offer Process

All devices are professionally inspected. If the condition or model does not match your initial claim, we’ll send a revised offer. You have 5 days to accept or reject. Rejected items will be returned free of charge.

6. Payments

Payments are made via bank transfer within 1 working day of your acceptance. You are responsible for providing accurate payment details. We are not liable for payments sent to incorrect bank information you provide.

7. Sending & Receiving Your Device

You can send your device via QR code, Royal Mail collection, or printable label.
Devices must be packaged securely. We are not liable for physical damage caused during transit due to poor packaging.
If the parcel is lost and tracking cannot confirm receipt, we cannot process your trade-in.

8. Lost, Stolen, or Blocked Devices

If your device is found to be reported lost, blacklisted or barred, it will be quarantined and reported to the relevant authorities. You will not receive payment and the device will not be returned.

9. Environmental Compliance

We are committed to environmentally responsible processing. Devices may be reused, refurbished or recycled in line with WEEE and environmental regulations.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of data or missed payments due to user error, unless due to proven negligence or fraud on our part.
