Service Terms & Conditions

These terms apply exclusively to repair services provided by Tech Market, whether booked in-store or via our mail-in service. By requesting a repair, you agree to the following terms.

1. Repair Services We Offer

We provide repair services for a wide range of devices including Apple iPhones, iPads, iPods, Samsung phones and tablets, and other selected tech devices. Services include screen replacements, battery swaps, charging port repairs, button replacements, and software fixes.

2. Booking a Repair

You can book a repair online through our booking form or by visiting us in-store:

Walk-ins are welcome. For mail-in devices, please ensure they are securely packaged. We are not responsible for damage caused during transit.

3. Diagnostic & Repair Estimates

We offer free diagnostics on most devices. If the issue requires more work than originally quoted, we will contact you before proceeding. If you decline a repair after diagnosis, a small handling fee may apply.

4. Warranty on Repairs

All repairs include a 12 months warranty covering the parts and workmanship provided by Tech Market.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental or physical damage after repair
  • Liquid damage
  • Issues unrelated to the original repair
  • Damage caused by third-party interference

5. Data & Liability

Please back up your device before repair. While we handle devices carefully, Tech Market is not responsible for data loss.

We accept no liability for pre-existing faults or damage caused after leaving our premises.

6. Water-Damaged Devices

Water-damaged devices are repaired strictly at the owner’s risk. Functionality is not guaranteed and these repairs are not covered under warranty.

7. Turnaround Times

Typical turnaround times:

  • Walk-in repairs: Same day (for common repairs)
  • Mail-in repairs: 2–5 working days from receipt

We will inform you if any delays arise due to parts or diagnostics.

8. Uncollected Devices

Devices not collected within 60 days of completion will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to recycle or dispose of such devices to recover costs.

9. Mail-In Repairs – Terms

If using our mail-in service, please:

  • Use tracked and insured postage
  • Package your device securely
  • Include name, contact number, and booking reference

We are not responsible for damage caused during inbound delivery.

10. Payment

Payment must be made upon completion before collection or dispatch. Accepted methods:

  • Debit/credit card
  • Cash (in-store)
  • Klarna (subject to availability)

11. Warranty Status

Please note: repairs carried out by Tech Market may void your manufacturer’s warranty. Proceeding with a repair confirms you understand and accept this.

12. Legal Rights

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
